WHO WE ARE
Mad Burger & Sausage began in 2016 with a small team and a clear goal: Raise the standards, the potential, and expectations in the Artisan Sausage production world. Today we operate a USDA-inspected facility in Phoenix, AZ, producing wholesale burgers, sausages, and meatballs etc, for restaurants, distributors, and retailers and retail.

We make Artisan inspired blends of Sausage, Meatballs and Burgers etc. We are a hands-on production.
From our Classic patties and links to our Premium and Signature blends, our lineup supports staples and custom programs built for the creative Chef in you.

Michael Angelo Di Paola
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Michael Angelo Di Paola. I was born and raised in The Bronx, New York, and moved to Phoenix in 1994. I have been in the food business all my life. Every job from busboy to bread distribution, restaurateur, sales for a major food distributor, and food broker (you get it). In 2016, I found myself in a dead-end job and decided to go back into business for myself (easy, right?). It was time to try my hand at manufacturing.
When I had my restaurant, we made everything from scratch, including sausage. I taught myself to make sausage and developed my own recipes. Everything was done by hand (you get it). Having lived in New York most of my life, it was not hard to realize there was a great void in the Phoenix sausage world.
Here we are now, almost ten years later. We went from making 60 lbs. of sausage a month for friends and family to almost 5,000 lbs. a week. Not too shabby for a kid from The Bronx. We pride ourselves on our standards and the quality of our products. What we do is not for everybody, it is for those who know better!
